Beam has been established since 2014, with it becoming incorporated in 2018. The primary belief of Beam is that everyone deserves to feel happy and healthy.

 

We work with organisations and individuals across the world delivering coaching, workshops and training programmes which are all designed to positively change lives. Beam has more than 50 unique and individual courses and is constantly adding to their course library, many of which are CPD accredited.

Lianne Weaver established Beam in 2014, with a degree in Educational Psychology, Lianne has always had a keen interest in understanding how the brain works and how we can use that understanding to help ourselves feel happier and healthier. Following her degree, Lianne worked in Human Resources and achieved a post graduate certificate in Human Resource Management, here she gained her passion for learning and development. Following the birth of her daughter, Lianne changed career and went into Bookkeeping and Accountancy, realising that she was very unhappy, in 2010 she made steps to again return to studying the mind. Since then, Lianne has continued to increase her knowledge, she is currently studying an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health, and uses this knowledge to create interactive, engaging and powerful training content.

Other qualifications Lianne holds are; Reiki Master / Teacher, Meditation Teacher, Life Coach, Meridian Psychotherapist, NLP Practitioner, Mental Health First Aider, Breath as Medicine Facilitator and more.

Lianne is also passionate about supporting others and so works with Cardiff University to mentor young entrepreneurs. She is also a Big Ideas Wales Role Model, Chwarae Teg Mentor and Virgin Mentor.

Tom Weaver joined Beam in 2019, with a background in construction and project management, Tom initially joined the team with the intention of handling the management of the company. However, he quickly became skilled at creating all of our digital content, including our eLearning courses.

 

Since then, Tom has developed a passion for supporting and helping others as well and so has become a qualified NLP practitioner and coach, a Mental Health First Aider, a Breath as Medicine facilitator and an oxygen advantage instructor.

 

Tom’s primary areas of passion are digital learning, men’s mental health and breathwork.

Meet our Associate Trainers & Coaches

Louise McMilan joined Beam in 2021 as Associate Trainer.  Louise worked within in the HR profession for over 20 years for a variety of sectors and large organisations such as Bristol Airport, Refresco, Ofsted, Clarks and First Great Western – to name a few. 

 

Louise, by her own admission, has had her challenges with Mental Health over the years which impacted her career and personal life. It was having Breast Cancer in 2017, that enabled Louise to find herself and start living her life on her own terms.  Louise now shares her story as an Inspirational Speaker and, as a Coach, enables others to overcome what stops them so they can live life more fully.  She brings her personal and HR experience into the passion she has for supporting, engaging and enabling others to be the very best they can be.

 

As well as being CIPD qualified, other qualifications that Louise holds are Level 2 Certified DISC Accreditation (The Coaching Academy), Mental Health First Aider, Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching (The Coaching Academy), SHL Occupational Testing – Level A and B

Sal Jefferies is a human behaviour specialist working with founders and freelancers who want to be a force for positive change in the world. He integrates psychology, human behaviour, body intelligence and breath-work to create a unique and human-centric approach to coaching and training. 

 

Sal believes that by working with the ‘human’ aspect of the business, we can address the core needs of the founder first with the resulting effects being evident in the business. He helps clients develop a conscious, resilient and agile mindset so they can meet challenges and be creative in their work. Sal brings particular focus to wellbeing and how to manage difficult emotions and stress by blending learning from psychology, breath-work and yoga.

 

Sal’s systemic approach means he works with the whole person; mind & body and life. He is a Contemporary Psychotherapist PG Dip, Master Practitioner of NLP, Mindset Coach, Yoga Teacher and Advanced Breathwork Trainer with Oxygen Advantage.

Alison Pattimore has worked within people development for most of her career, she has a wonderful ability to help get the best from those around her and is a passionate motivator of others. She particularly enjoys working to help others overcome limiting beliefs and achieve their goals.

 

Alison has a wide range of experience, she is an ACAS qualified mediator, an ILM7 Executive Coach, a MCIPD HR Professional. She is also a qualified NLP coach, hypnotherapist and Kinetic Shift Practitioner
